1. "How long has the house been on the market?"
If the house was just listed, don't expect the sellers to negotiate a bargain with you. However, if it's been sitting awhile, they may be more willing to negotiate their asking price.
Remember, just because a house has been on the market a long time doesn't mean there is something wrong with it. It could be the original listing price was too high.

Your agent is in and out of homes all day. Take advantage of that knowledge and expertise! Find out what unique qualities stand out. Then add that insight in with the overall functionality of the home and how it might fit your lifestyle.

It's easy to fall in love with a home when you first see it. And that's where your agent can help ground you!
While the sellers must disclose known issues, you'll want to know if those issues have been repaired or still need to be fixed. If it's the latter, you want to know how costly those repairs will be.

To make sure the house is priced fairly, your agent can compare the sale price of similar homes that have recently sold. This is a good indicator of whether of not the home is priced fairly.
